Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy

At OG Handlooms, every textile is manually crafted by skilled artisans on traditional wooden looms. We are committed to giving you a transparent, secure, and legally compliant shopping experience while preserving the integrity of Indian weaving heritage.

1. The Handloom Hallmark (Not Defects)

Because our products are 100% handwoven and naturally dyed, they do not have the clinical uniformity of machine-made goods. The following are natural hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship and do not qualify as defects or grounds for return:

• Minor variations in thread tension, occasional thicker threads (slabs), or tiny knots.
• Slight unevenness in the fabric edges (selvedge) or visible manual thread joins.
• Slight colour variations between your digital screen and the physical product due to lighting.

2. What is Eligible for Return?

You can request a return or replacement within 48 hours of delivery under these conditions:

• Manufacturing Defect: Major structural tears or missing weaves (e.g., an incomplete pallu).
• Wrong Item Delivered: You received a materially different product or colour than ordered.
• Transit Damage: The package and product arrived severely damaged.

3. What is NOT Eligible for Return?

To maintain hygiene and protect our artisans' labour, we cannot accept returns for:

• Change of mind, personal preference, or failing to check product dimensions.
• Products that have been worn, washed, ironed, or altered.
• Items missing their original brand tags and packaging.
• Products bought during clearance sales, promotional events, or custom-made orders.

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video (Strict Policy)

To process any claim for transit damage, missing items, or incorrect deliveries, a continuous, unedited unboxing video is mandatory.

• Start recording before opening the outer courier seal.
• Ensure the shipping label (showing your tracking number and address) is clearly visible.
• Open the package and inspect the product in one continuous shot without the camera panning away or the video cutting.
• Please note: Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video, or videos recorded after the seal is broken, will be automatically rejected.

5. How to Initiate a Return

1. Email Us: Contact support@oghandlooms.com within 48 hours of delivery. Use the subject line: "Resolution Request - Order #[Your Order Number]".
2. Attach Evidence: Include your unboxing video, clear photos of the issue, and images of the original tags.
3. QC Review: Our Quality Control team will assess your claim and respond within 24 to 48 business hours.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

• Defective/Wrong Items: You can choose between a Free Replacement (subject to inventory) or a Full Refund to your original payment method. OG Handlooms bears all shipping costs.
• Refund Timelines: Prepaid orders take 5 to 10 business days to reflect in your account after QC approval.
• Cancellations: Orders can only be cancelled for a full refund before dispatch. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
